Called to preach later in life and serving as an Associate/Youth Pastor for three years, Pastor Dennis along with a few other faithful followers, felt moved by the Lord to start New Hope Baptist Church. Within 17 years New Hope moved from a home basement to meeting at the Plano YMCA to today preaching God's truth from the pulpit of our very own facility. This was a feat no other independant Baptist church had ever accomplished in the Plano community.
